Gerard Butler - Gerard Butler gets distracted in New York
16 April 2013
Gerard Butler has revealed he spends more time at his Los Angeles home than at his New York pad because he is too easily distracted by the bright lights of 'The Big Apple'.
Gerard Butler gets distracted in New York
Gerard Butler doesn't spend too much time in New York - because he can't any work done.
The 43-year-old actor has homes in Los Angeles and 'The Big Apple' but he tends to spend more time at his LA base because he gets distracted too easily in New York to focus on his career.
He said: ''I enjoy living in LA but I also have a place in New York. Only I love New York so much that I don't get any work done. I can't get my head down and read scripts. I want to be out walking or going to the theatre. In LA you get disciplined - you train, you write.''
Butler is originally from Scotland but has been based in Hollywood since his career really exploded.
The 'Olympus Has Fallen' star misses his home country but accepts he needs to be Stateside to be a successful leading man.
In an interview with the new UK issue of OK! magazine, he added: ''You can live in Britain, but without a doubt it helps to live over there, especially if you're producing too as often a meeting will come up and the director's in town for one day and everyone else is based there.''

Gerard Butler - Gerard Butler: no one works harder than me
14 April 2013
Gerard Butler insists no one works ''harder'' than him despite being checked into rehab last year to tackle his prescription drug addiction.
Gerard Butler: no one works harder than me
Gerard Butler insists no one works ''harder'' than him.
The '300' actor checked into the Betty Ford rehab Centre last year to tackle his addiction to prescription drugs, but Gerard insists he abused the substances because of his heavy work load and believes no one can relate.
He said: ''Listen. I'm no angel but there's no one in this world I think that works harder than me.''
The 43-year-old star took up smoking again two months ago but remembers how overwhelming the smell of smoke was during his cigarette-free period.
He recalled: ''I really noticed the smell of people when they smoke and it especially comes from your fingers. I can shake up to 500 hands in one night and those people ... some of them are clean, some of them are dirty.''

Gerard Butler: Un action hero dal cuore romantico
17 aprile 2013
http://www.comingsoon.it/News_Articoli/ ... ?Key=22262

GQ British
Gerard Butler on North Korea, motorcycle jackets and training with Navy SEALS
By Oliver Franklin 17 April 13
http://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/entertainm ... -interview
What's your favourite piece of clothing in your wardrobe?
This is probably my favourite jacket. Can I tell you something? I just got this today! I came in and there were five jackets lying on my bed from the same company. It looks like Belstaff but it's not, it's… [Butler takes off the jacket and looks at the label] Matchless. It's awesome. I literally put it on, and went "oh my god, this is my new favourite look." But I do like that style… a motorcycle jacket that is not quite a motorcycle jacket. It is that Belstaff feel. I love Rogue as well. I think Rogue do some really cool, masculine, interesting stuff.
You brush up well on the red carpet, too. Where do you go for suits?
On the red carpet it's a completely different thing, you have to wear suits. I wear a lot of Brioni, and Ferragamo, and Dolce, all of those kind of things. I've got to tell you, this trip I've got a little more organised. What's crazy is before I go on a trip I know how many premieres I'm doing, how many photoshoots - so I will literally do four-hour fittings, where they'll say "OK, this is for the London premiere, this is for the Italian premiere, this is for this charity event." It normally comes at the end of a day when I've been doing press and running around town. You get home at 7 o'clock, and then by 11 o'clock you're like "if I have to try on another f***ing suit, or get pinned for another shirt, I swear to God I'm going to kill somebody."
Funny story actually: I was about to do a fitting one morning recently - the appointment had to be made at 8 in the morning because the rest of the day was crazy. Especially because I produced this movie, and I have to do a lot of marketing meetings and other stuff you don't normally have to get involved with. So this hairdresser comes round to my house, and he's cutting my hair and talking about the movie. I was still half asleep, when he said, "It's so crazy what is going on right now in North Korea. And now the Chinese are pointing their nuclear missiles at America." And I went (sits up sharply) "What?!" Now, in this moment, I'm half asleep hearing this and it's my reality. I said, "What, the Chinese?!" Then he goes, "Oh, sorry, the North Koreans." For about 30 seconds I literally thought, "oh s***, we're moving into a world war! This is real!"

Não me deixaram entrar.
